Purpose

CATBridge is a free, lightweight Windows utility that bridges an Elgato Stream Deck and/or a Ulanzi D100H dial to a Yaesu FTDX101's CAT interface, turning them into real hardware remote controls for band, mode, split, tuning and more. Built originally to scratch the author's own itch, it's shared freely with the amateur radio community as a hobby project — no warranty, no commercial ambitions.

Usage

Install CATBridge on the Windows PC connected to the FTDX101's CAT port. If you're using a Ulanzi D100H dial, install Ulanzi Studio plus the CATBridge Dial Control plugin; if you're using a Stream Deck, install the Stream Deck app plus the CommandSender plugin. Assign at least one action or button on whichever device you own, then open CATBridge, select the correct COM port and start the network listener — from that point on, dial turns and button presses are translated into CAT commands and sent straight to the radio

Note

This project is under active development and new features, refinements and optimizations are continuously being added. The application was originally developed for personal use and is provided free of charge to other amateur radio operators who may find it useful. No warranty, guarantee, or commitment to future support is provided. Use the software entirely at your own risk.
