FTdx101Monitor

Purpose
FTdx101 Monitor is a small, free Windows utility that mirrors the Yaesu FTDX101's built-in display onto PC screen. It doesn't talk to the radio over CAT — it simply shows the live video coming from a USB HDMI capture card connected to the transceiver's video output, letting you read the meters, VFOs and spectrum/waterfall on a bigger, more comfortable screen than the radio's own panel.
Usage
Connect a USB HDMI capture card to your PC, run a good male-to-male HDMI cable from the FTDX101's video output to the capture card's input, and enable EXT DISPLAY in the radio's menu (DISPLAY SETTING → EXT MONITOR). Launch FTdx101 Monitor, right-click to pick the capture card as the video source, then use the same menu to go full screen, keep the window always on top, fit it to the video, or save a snapshot — all remembered automatically for next time.
Note
This project is under active development and new features, refinements and optimizations are continuously being added. The application was originally developed for personal use and is provided free of charge to other amateur radio operators who may find it useful. No warranty, guarantee, or commitment to future support is provided. Use the software entirely at your own risk.
